| IEP Planner is an innovative
network based Special Education Data Management System designed to assist
Special Services Departments in all aspects of creating and maintaining IDEA
required documents and Local/State/Federal reports. |
| Currently installed in public and
private school districts throughout New Jersey, IEP Planner has been
consistently lauded for its flexibility and user-friendly interface. IEP Planner
is designed to guide all users, from administrators to special education
teachers, through the IEP process ensuring accurate data entry and IDEA/NJAC
6A:14 compliance. |
 |
IEP Planner creates all
IDEA required documents, correspondence, progress reports and 504 Plans. |
 |
IEP Planner is a
single entry program which enables users to enter student and special
education information once. This information then tracks to various sections of
IEP Planner. |
 |
IEP Planner provides
for easy data entry through drop-down lists, pop-up windows and default
statements which can then be modified by the user. |
 |
IEP Planner’s Main Menu
includes a history of all documents and correspondence created for the
student. |
 |
IEP Planner’s color
coded Main Menu enables easy identification of proposed, current and expired
documents. |
 |
IEP Planner’s time
saving features include the ability to duplicate and update documents and
correspondence from year to year. |
 |
IEP Planner documents,
correspondence, and reports are easily viewed and emailed as a PDF. |
 |
IEP Planner’s
Document Formatter enables school districts to customize the headings and
informational text included in documents. |
 |
IEP Planner’s Local
Reports can be created and stored by either using IEP Planner’s list
formatter or by exporting the data to an Excel spreadsheet. |
 |
IEP Planner’s State and Federal Reports and
backup worksheets are easily extracted with the click of a button. |
 |
IEP Planner’s NJ SMART Export feature allows
for easy exporting of NJ SMART special education data for importing into Student
Information Systems. |
 |
IEP Planner’s Preformatted Reports (Related
Services, Class Lists, Transportation, etc.) provide for easy access to
frequently required information. |
 |
IEP Planner’s Contact History feature
provides Child Study Team members with a means to keep track of contacts made
with the student/parent/guardian and enables tracking of upcoming tasks. |
 |
IEP Planner allows for easy management of the Id
and Password process along with the ability to assign access levels and user
permissions. |
| The Goals and Objectives Database
is an integral component of IEP Planner. This comprehensive database was
prepared by a licensed clinical and certified school psychologist in conjunction
with speech/language therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists,
preschool handicapped educators, autism specialists, and learning disabilities
teacher consultants. |
|
